The Irgun ran around blowing up British military installations. The British called them terrorists. The Haganah did not approve, and brought the Irgun to heel as in June 1948, as soon as Independence was declared, while fighting was still going on. Look up the Altadena incident.

No, they shouldn't. That is they shouldn't be surprised if those who flourish under the status quo respond negatively. Likewise, we who flourish shouldn't be surprised if other underdogs fail to respond negatively.
