I can tell from your post that you think gays select to be gay. If you had a gay son or daughter you would know better. However, it is genetic and this I believe with all my heart. NO one in her or his right mind would choose to be something that people such as yourself believe to be condemned. It would be so much easier to be heterosexual. Until this world has some understanding that no one choose brown,blue or grey eyes.. That ones hair color was not selected will anyone know what it is like to have a child who is gay. Until then...and I hope for your sake that you never do..or a grandchild.. ( I am sure Cheney would not have chosen his daughter to be ) try to be more tolerant. It is not a choice. And if marriage is as you indicate just between man and woman then at least allow Gays to have a civil union so that they are able to enjoy the same tax advantages and have rights with regard to their partners health. I was a counselor for 31 years. I had two student kill themselves because if their sexual proclivity.. that is they thought they might be gay. If society had been more tolerant then maybe they would still be alive. Yours for a more tolerant world.
