Not at all. The ability of not permiting any circumstance to interfere with what is to be accomplished comes from more than one area. Adrenalin often keeps people going. Plain determination will also. Past experiences and training are the most reliable method. Becoming emotional or submitting to pain, not following logic, impedes the desired results from being aquired. Nothing can be gained by not following logic and keeping emotions in check. Actions of the emotional and illogical have killed many, Kerry is just one example. A soul??? That is between an individual and his/her God.
