LMAO. I think there is a better chance of Pelosi becoming a Republican.

Hmaly, I may be counting our chickens before they're hatched, but I predict that if Bush wins, the DNP will blame John Kerry for not being liberal enough, and Terry McAuliffe for ... well ... everything.

Therefore, McAuliffe will get the boot and Hillary will start catering to the Moore-heads for 2008.

Harry,

However, I can see Kennedy, Daschle, Pelosi, being put out to pasture, with Biden, Lieberman, Boyd, taking over.

I strongly doubt this will happen. The far left is in a firm control of the party. As more of the moderates move to the Republican party, what we may end up is Democrat party going from being a majority party to minority party run by extremists. At least that is the trend.

I would also like to see the NYT give Krugman, and Dowd the ax, and coming up with a more even-handed editorial opinions.

I don't care about Krugman, but Dowd can be very funny. And, there is nothing wrong with a partisan point of view on the editorial page. The problem with partisan point of view is with the "reporting".
