Yes I am much better off now than four years ago.

Working on desperate scare tactics like the draft are you?

Finally, a poll that is indicative of the tight race, and it must be tight. Last night on the
news, I saw how hard both Bush and Kerry worked the crowds in Ohio.

Am I better off today than I was 4 years ago.

I am not. The economy is still bad here and if it were necessary, I couldn't find
a job that paid a decent salary. Housing prices have increased because of
demand, but as far as I can tell, consumers took on more debt to purchase
and remodel homes.

Also, my taxes have gone up. Property taxes are up and there have been
increases in energy costs and I've had to pay more for food and for
services. For instance, it costs a lot more to go for a swim. I pay a lot more to take
classes. And, I believe there have been increases in the cost
for our bus service.
