hmly, re: The simple truth is that Clinton's main claim to fiscal conservatism, was pioneered here in Wisconsin, under Tommy Thompson, as noted in your article. First, that wasn't Clintons main claim to fiscal conservatism. It went far beyond that, to a commitment to shrink government spending. Second, if politicians only used their own 100% original ideas, then nothing would happen. Are you saying Clinton was at fault for implementing a program that had been proven successful? Third, Bush is still a drunken sailor President, while Clinton was fiscally conservative. I know that doesn't fit with a lot of peoples preconceptions, on both sides, but it's best to deal with reality, not dogma. John John
