OT: Thanks MrLucky, .. so that confirms what I guess was a tad bombastic on my part (tyranny of the mob) but yes it has the same effect as our seat system and seemingly less exaggerated... I was really amazed at the reaction when Pres. Bush was elected and the talk of popular vote vis a vis the electoral college... (never mind the chads :o)... I won't be surprised to see some proportional representation up here eventually as 40% popular vote winning a large majority leads as you might imagine to a fair bit of rancor... So now I leave you guys to your discussions ;o)
