Pat Buchanan is an interesting man ... E.F. Hutton .....

.......... for the conservatives of this country. His comments about the failed policies of the United States towards Iraq are not going to fall on deaf ears. I question, though, whether he's going to drive the point home.

Bill Maher interviewed Buchanan the other day on his show and asked him point blank for whom he was going to vote. Buchanan wouldn't answer. Instead, he pointed out that Kerry was "Bush lite," not distinguishing himself from Bush. Kerry's not giving conservatives a single reason reason to vote for him. By trying to capture the center, Kerry is totally writing off the right.

Osama might well be captured in October .....

.......... The neocons blow. They really know how to manipulate the public. What better way to do so than to trot Osama out of the refrigerator in late October.

Keep in mind, though, that part of the United States-Pakistan agreement is to allow Osama to remain free. I don't know, really, whether Bush wants to upset the fragile accord that he has with Pakistan current leader. His name slips my mind at the time. Musharraf?
