<<<The problem as I view it, is that the hard-core have nots prefer take from the haves than work and succeed on their own.
This attitude has been nursed by the demo Great Society programs that have allowed so many to become permanent fixtures on the welfare rolls.>>>

I don't think you have to worry about lazy people taking over this country. Of course, there will always be lazy people. People who would rather live off of others than to do their fair share. They will never disappear. At the same time, they will never get close to majority status.

The vast majority of people are in the middle. They would rather get everything they work for. But occassionally things happen and they need assistance. This could happen to the best of us.

Finally there are the super rich who would like to get as much as they can. I don't blame them. I would too if I had the necessary ambition, intelligence and drive.

The point is these people should also be protected and be allowed to do what they can - however, out of fairness they should pay more than their fair share to be able to have the opportunity to do what they enjoy and can't do anywhere else. After all, how much money does one need? How much can they eat? How many toys can they have?

They should be protected to allow them all the toys they can physically enjoy - but beyond those limits they have to be willing to contribute to a society where they can get so much.

I think most of the big boys agree with me - eg. Bill Gates, the guy from Omaha and others.
