Exactly. Which is what makes the whole argument that Kerry votes against the military so simplistic. His voting record has been overwhelmingly for the military, especially in those areas that directly affect the troops.

I haven't any idea what the circumstances were. My commentary had more to do with the Leftist argument, from idiots like Bill Maher and Al Franken, or for that matter, tejek, suggesting that the cost of the war should be a factor.
