I know a lot of very fine Muslims in this country, as well.

I just can't imagine shooting fleeing children in the back.

Then my sense of history kicks in and I remember other children, other places . . . .

But this is now, and my anger is fresh. I am also outraged by the continuing mendacity of Sadr. All human beings share much in common, but cultural differences can be so strong that at times we could be from different planets or different species.

Mendacity seems to be a way of life in the Middle East. They treat their friends well but they have many enemies. In America at least we marginalize those we cannot trust, and those in power are bound by chains of law.

Look at what happened to Nixon, Agnew, Oliver North, Clinton. We don't let even the most powerful do whatever they want.

What do most people in the ME say about the radical Islamists? Do they have any arguments to counter them? because I'm sure not hearing any.
