You know what is REALLY weird? If you look at this shot from above and use either the firetruck or one of the pickup trucks in the foreground for scaling, I would expect damage to the builing from the wingspan of a 757 and it's engines to be far wider then I see here. That damaged section looks to be the width of 3 F-150's.
