With all due respect, your reality and the reality of the rest of the US are NOT one and the same.

It was under Bush that 911 happened. The public is as likely to hold him responsible because he had, in fact, a number of pointed warnings of the danger. And it was Clinton's military that kicked ass in Afganistan and Iraq.
