Andrew, you did notice the figures for registered voters was Bush 49% and Kerry 48%.

Bush has experienced a post-convention bounce, there's no doubt about that. How long will it last though? By the time the debates hit, the race will probably be even again. The debates and perhaps some external factor like the capture of Bin Laden will determine the outcome of this race. That is the ace the Republicans have up their sleeve, Bin Laden. They produce him a few days before the election and those emotially driven American voters will fall in line behind Bush.
