Wow, its amazing we didn't declare war on Saudi Arabi right after 911. Who needs all that oil field work our companies do in SA, or even the Saudi oil itself. With Saddam turning his spigots on and off it would have put a little crimp in our sails, but we have had gas rationing before.
Its just a bit hard for me to believe the Saudi rulers knew what OBL was planning to do though, because they not only could not maintain the oil production, they would lose our business and the multibillions they have invested over here would be frozen.
Pretty dumb move, what?
