You take any US takedown of a foreign country including Mexico, Japan, Germany and you're going to find more than 1000 US casualties in the first day of combat, let alone 1.5 years later. By the John Kerry leftist propaganda, the Federal should have surrendered at the first battle of Manassas and we should have surrendered on the beaches of Normandy and in North Africa. They can't wait for us to surrender.
