RUSSETT

First of all, its not our oil to take as we please. As you will see, it will end in disaster for the USA.

"The globe is littered with the dead bodies of nations that ignored a direct attack on their soil,..."

Thankfully the brave people of Iraq are not ignoring the direct attack by America on their soil and are fighting back to free themselves from the occupiers.

And BTW everyone knows it was not Iraqis that attacked the WTC but if it were not directly planned by the USA to terrorize its own people into backing an invasion of an innocent country in order to steal its oil then it is like the Saudi "insurgents" trying to free themselves from the evil Saudi family but somehow I wouldn't put it past the Saudi family itself to pull such a stunt in order to help the Americans find an excuse to invade Iraq....thus the quick exit of the binLaden family on the first planes to start flying after 9/11

The harder line the power mongers of this world take, the more repeats of Beslan there will be. The world is becoming an increasingly unsafe and desperate place simply because people want to have some share of the pie that America (and others) has stolen from the rest of the world and they have every right to live free and enjoy the worlds wealth equally. So, its quite simple to me, the rich powerful countires must live the poor people self determination and stay out of their affairs.

For 1 we should find out who attacked who. It was not Sadaam's army that hit on 9-11 was it?

<is it about oil,..or is it drawing a line in the sand and saying enough!!>

It appears to be about oil.

<what the F... would you people be saying, or doing.> I would not have put the Shah in power in Iran. I would not have put Saddam in power in Iraq. And third I would not have formed a relationship with Saudi Arabia that drains their economy of their petro dollars and gives the $$$ to a bunch of rich Princes aka Marcos style in the Phillipines. I would think about what has happened to cause the problems. That's a starter.

Now that we are in the soup I would get rid of Rumsfield who is running the Army from a deck chair and let Army generals run it. 2nd I would have gone after Osama more aggressively in Pakistan. 3rd I would look into the nuclear proliferation by Pakistan. 4th I would look at the Saudi support of the wingnuts that may have been responsible for 9-11 not Iraq.

What would you do Russett? Do you support our actions of government overthrow such as the Shah and Saddam H. Those acts alone have caused decade long ramifications we are not looking down the barrel at. Here is another link for you.
