Viet Nam was a big tragic mistake. Kerry was right to oppose it. I don't hold that against him at all. If our leaders had any balls, Kerry wouldn't have even needed to testify in 1971, we would have long since left Viet Nam and made ammends for our mistake. The losers in Viet Nam were the vets who were lied to and suffered the consquences. The winners were the owners of the military industrial complex and opportunistic politicians.
