The point is, there are few countries that have a lower tax rate than the US. And those that do, usually aren't ones that most Americans would want to live in.

I don't think there is anything wrong with living in Japan, Korea, Taiwan.

As far as European countries, some, if not most of the countries get some benefits out of the highest taxes - socialized medicine, which is something you would have to adjust our taxes to get apples to apples comparison.
