The American people have worked through the vitriolic attacks from one camp to the other and visa versa. Now we want to line out the issues and have our questions answered. 1) The definition of each political issue and 2) Which leader has credibility on their proposed solutions.

Care to get the list started? Top five?

Why make it more painful than need be? Is there a rule?

It should feel as painful as it actually is. If the war is expensive, then people should notice that they have less money to spend. Not, as in this case, more.

If anything, letting the country go along without full homeland mobilization has made it harder to conduct the war, because people are not fully rallied, and therefore lose morale easily, as they watch news against a backdrop of apparent normality.

the whole premise of the war is that it would be easy. If Bush had promised blood and tears, the war never would have happened.
