I wish I knew. I think that the company is in good shape, and doing much better than is reflected in the stock price, so I suppose that eventually I'll either discover that I'm wrong or the stock will perform better.

I don't necessarily agree with him, but it sounds like a solid analysis:

Like the Bear Stearns analyst cited in the article, I think database is the key to valuing this company. The problems with Applications are all very real, but things would have to go very badly (or there would have to be some really stupid acquisitions) before there is real damage to the overall company.
