You posted this to Dipy:
Do we need to be there? I don't know. But we are. I don't even know why we are there anymore. They want us out, it is costing us huge amounts of money to stay, let's leave. They want the country, let's give it to them.

And you posted this to me:
How come none of you Kerry people are lauding the new tagline for the war that Kerry is using?
You know the one how the war is wrong, wrong time, wrong people, etc?

My Comment
It looks like you agree with Kerry that the war as it stands today is wrong. You wondered what are we doing in Iraq. Many Americans are wondering that also. And Kerry is echoing their thoughts. What is there to laud. We know Kerry is in touch with the people and Bush is not.

He went so far as to say if you thought the war was wrong, you obviously could not be Pres, or something to that effect.

What do you do when the alternative is a guy who sent our soldiers to Iraq under the pretext of finding WMDs and then made fun of the whole thing in a lavish press club dinner?!

This election is Bush vs. not Bush ... focusing on Kerry

.......... and how he's going to clean up Bush's horrific mess is premature. The issue at hand is getting Bush out of the White House, then we'll work on solutions to the mess. They are complex and continuing Bush's state of permanent war is not one of them.
