I guess they all should have listened to Wilson... lib.byu.edu The mess started long before Saddam and the Shah... ultimately it's a legacy of old Imperialist Europe.... combined with a still tribal mentality dominated by religion... The problem is a lot bigger than George Bush... (no I'm not saying he is part of the solution) but a lot of folks over there will never be interested in toasting marshmallows and singing kumbayah...
