Wayne I don't think we disagree at all or not by much .You are right in what you said pay backs are hell. All I am saying is we are reaping what was sowed the last 5 decades. With tragedies on both sides mixing it up including what just happened in Russia. There is no excuse for that. But since the 2nd war in Iraq has started "our" side has bombed and killed several families by accident maybe 100's. In addition some say the food for oil program the last 10 years has cause 1000's of deaths of Iraqi children. So fault on all sides.

It is too late now but we should not have put Saddam in power in the 70's and maybe we should not have invaded Iraq if the terrorist came from Saudi Arabia.

I will try to sum it up here and not spoil the thread as Stephen O is correct about that. It is like when I was a kid when one child was saying the other started "it" both got taken behind the woodshed. The US had made IMHO poor foreign policy decisions by nation building and meddling the last 50 years. It is time for us to change. It is time for the religious fanatics to change.

Continual strife and war is not going to cure things.

This tires me out we need a good metals rally to calm the nerves. <g>
