"Will it work? I don't know. But to win, Mr. Kerry must try to puncture the myth that Mr. Bush's handlers have so assiduously created."

No, Richnorth, it will not work. Kerry is dead meat. His campaign is in almost total disarray. He will not be able to halt Bush's momentum or change the playing field. He will not be able to alter the message enough to get the ear of the voting public, now moving relentlessly toward Bush and the Bush agenda.

Kerry lost his campaign for the Presidency when he walked boldly out on the stage in Boston, saluted, and informed his captive audience that he was reporting for duty.

He set the stage. He composed his message. He formed the image that he wanted to carry into battle.

The Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth heard. And they heard loud and clear. They rallied once again to the sound of battle. But this time, instead of bravely standing with their leader, they determined that he was not fit to lead. His four months in Vietnam taught them that truth.

Kerry dared the Viet Vets to challenge him. And they did. Kerry cannot believe that they won. He always won before, and on the same stage which he managed to control to his advantage.

But not for the highest office in the land.

Kerry committed political suicide but it was slow in coming. It started in 1969, accelerated in 1971, and came to a head July, 2004.

It is over for Kerry. The only question now is how much longer can a dead man walk?

Yes Rich, like your 40 year old invitation to Canada. If you actually believed in something and left for that reason, you should be proud of your motivations. As it is, you appear to be over compensating.

Many things are not what they seem to be. More often than not, there's more than what meets the eye.
