At $50 a barrel for oil, MANY alternative energy technologies are commercially viable.

At $70, it's a lead pipe cinch.

(Already, for example, wind power is the cheapest option for electricity generation in many geographic locales....)

Hydrogen is made from water. The process that seperates the hydrogen molecule from oxygen molecule is called electrolysis and is performed by running an electric current between two plates in water. Where does that electric current come from?
