My goal is to find a workable solution just for us, for my family, either by copying someone else or by coming up with it ourselves. If the solution will run everything we need it to run, with little maintenance and cost, then I won't care in the least about ramping it up for commercial purposes. But... I would certainly like the option to do so. We have a very fine place that is potentially gridless and wondrously energy efficient. It uses a hybrid system. But I really am not interested in spending a lot of time learning about the subsystems and keeping them working. I have kids who love it for now, but eventually they will leave us. So we need something that will work for us in the long haul - plug and play. Haven't really found it yet.
