Yeah, Tide...but that is in NO way an endorsement of Bush.

We controlled 2/3rds of Iraq and Saddam was shut down tight. NOW we have 140,000 troops there and I don't know if we control ANY of it.

It was neocon rose-colored glasses that got us into this mess.

We don't even control Afghanistan.

If Gore had been elected we would have 80,000 troops in Afghanistan and they would actually be looking at free elections IMO.

I suppose there's a lot of pride and honor at stake, even when the reason for going to war was flawed or for greed or conceived in deceit, eh???????

For the short term, it might be rationalized as OK! But what about the long term consequences like what and how posterity and the rest of the world view America? I suppose that is unimportant, eh?
