LB,

It gets worse - TIME Magazine leads with a picture of an arab boy and the title "The Struggle Within Islam". Beslin is listed as "Russia's Massacre" as a bullet on the top.

Quote: Three years after 9/11 moderate Muslims say US Foreign Policy ia making it harder to counter the fiery appeal of radical Islam.

Sick reporting.

John

Some more issues for Kerry. The IG will look at these too.

In 1986 Kerry requested documentation of his service record. The Navy responded and confirmed he was a a member of the Navy Reserve when he met with NVA in Paris.

They will also look at this change that awards Kerry 4 battle stars (Kerry had to have signed this change request). Only two max were authorized when he was in country.

The smear continues
By Steve Bainbridge on Current Affairs

The next step in Big Media's anti-Bush smear campaign will be the long-anticipated 60 Minutes interview with Texas Democrat Ben Barnes:

Ben Barnes, a Democrat and the lieutenant governor of Texas in 1968, will explain his role in securing for the 22-year-old Yale graduate Bush a coveted place in the state's Air National Guard - a unit so full of the sons of Texas's rich and powerful that it was known as the "Champagne Unit".
The problem with this story is quite simple, however:

Barnes himself has acknowledged he received no direct approach from the Bush family to have George W admitted in the Texas National Guard.

Why don't the American media want their readers to hear the entire story? Because it would remind us that we are at war with Islamist lunatics, and that their reach is global. This story drives home the utter depravity of our enemies, the senseless and sadistic nature of a subculture that has no regard for human life or dignity, who will stop at nothing to get what they desire most -- the power of life and death over as many people as possible.

The media is broken. They would much rather have Kitty Kelley on Today for 3 days, and all sorts of interviews with Waddles ShaggyBeard Moore, than deal with anything dealing with the current world situation....
