Ted, And what was Zell Miller?

A guy who's too old to change his stripes now? Personally, I wondered why he stayed a Democrat. Probably too stubborn, but if so, that could be evidence that the Dems of today are way left of the Dems of JFK's time.

That's not surprising..........the nation as a whole is far more liberal than during JFK's time. As for Miller, his act transcends mere ideology........the man has either cracked and/or he hopes to gain something from Bush.

Buchanan seems more genuine in his concern over ideology but I also suspect there has been a falling out between Bush and him, and some of his reaction is plain ole vindictiveness.
