The source should always be considered. What is most important are the facts. A blog can be dismissed if it is wrong, or it can be correct. To dismiss a site instead of the information is disingenuous...

To compare others to you is unfair.

If you read both the blog and your AFP article you'd
see that both are citing a WSJ article.

You seem to link foreign sources most of the
time so I assume you like AFP because it's French.:-)

I realize you are reality challenged, but the blog quoted
critical evidence from the source & used a Wall Street
Journal article as the main basis of their report. The
bottom line is your so called "mainstream media service",
the ultra liberal AP spun & distorted reality.....

In the memo dated 25 August, the newspaper says, the army’s chief of procurement policy, Tina Balard, directed top officials to <font color=purple>“immediately begin the transition to competitively awarded sustainment contracts for support of US military forces in Iraq”<font color=black>.

Halliburton/KBR went in as sole supplier during the
initial emergency: the situation is now ‘sustainment’ of
support, where there’s no hurry, and you can afford to
subcontract.
