As long as I am downloading from a trusted site, I don't have any concerns with removing NAV first. I guess you could download the new antivirus program to a folder and then remove NAV before installing the new software if you want to be on the safe side.

FWIW, I am trading today and posting on SI currently on a machine that only has a physical firewire. I will put the security in place tonight. I am basically visiting only a couple of sites that I trust and being careful with my email. So you see, it all depends on your level of risk tolerance. Visiting a virgin site is probably fairly safe, while I wouldn't consider visiting a whore site without protection!<G>
