I see it in a not dissimilar way, believe it or not. I do not think bad guy rule is inevitable. There is a 3 state solution that gives us kurds and sistani and god knows what in the triangle. There is my idea of an announced departure date to get some of the troublemakers as well as current pol and rel leaders to move with more speed to a better iraq. Your problem is that you see the US and Israel as the causes of all this. In the end we and now the russians are trying to wipe out the terrorists. It was felt that saddam would eventually get and turn over nukes to those same terrorists so at least he is gone. If we had bin laden living in a house in ramalla orchestrating terror against us, would we be as kind as the israelis are? If you could only combine this common sense post with a less ideological approach your posts would be a hell of a lot better. mike
