do we have media bias with katie couric today show,? they are giving air time to katie kelly coming up with some wild statements, newsweek has refused to publish any excerpts as they cannot find any support for her statements and her history.. also cnn show forgot famous moderator of show at 9pm has refused to give her air time per imus this morning. now i believe O'Neill who wrote swift boat vets unfit for command has yet to get an apperance on today show.. why? is it media bias?

Wow - that's a nice one stop compilation of the media :-). You are right there is always bias one way or the other. Following questions are worth pondering over as far as bias is concerned. How deliberate is it ? Are they pursuing the truth for justice or are they pursuing stories just because they will make a good read ? Is there any objectivity in the analysis of a story? Is some reporting done in context (after dusting the spin off) or just merely mouthing what the players say? I will venture out on the limb and say if there is a bias in one way or the other - is it possible that it is justified ? For example any media that is biased against a despotic regime is justified. The media seems to be biased towards almighty dollar though :-)
