Sistani, the Islamic cleric, was the person that brokered a peace in Najaf.He alone had enough control to stop Al Sadr and his men. No piece of firepower that the US possesses had any effect on the fighters in the holy city. It is obvious that Sistani alone could easily control much of Iraq now. What Sistani wants is what will be happening. Civil war, here we come because the Sunni aren't going to like it one bit. Either are the Kurds.
