Bush's economic and foreign policies can be summed up with one phrase "For The Rich". We can debate all sorts of issues that distinguish the two major parties in America. But, this President has implemented policies that benefit the wealthiest Americans like no other previous President. Even Ronald Reagan, that icon of the Republican right and wealthy elites, had a streak of populism (perhaps because of his humble upbringing) that showed in some of his more fair-minded policies.

James > He’s been shockingly malleable to Cheney and Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz and the whole New American Century bunch.

In my opinion, one of the failings of Kerry is that he has totally omitted (in the speeches I have heard on TV) to even mention the neocons and their influence on US foreign policy. In fact, his continuous reaffirmation of the US-Israel relationship leads one to suspect that he, too, could fall under the same Neocon-JINSA-Likud influence as W has done.
