I worked in tough area, e. boston but never required a gun it was mafia part of town, no one hurt anyone. it used to so safe , girls could walk the streets anytime, night or day. you just minded your own business. ggg

You can carry a gun on your front seat, that's plain view.

Some states require that any gun being transported in a vehicle must be unloaded, and either cased or in the trunk. You can get around this if you have the appropriate permit.

This is quite a different culture than the states where every other guy has a pickup with a gun rack. Anyone traveling to a different state with a gun needs to know the local rules. Even within a single state, the rules can vary quite a bit among local jurisdictions.
