It's Kerry's stupid attempt to defend his actions in front of congress after he came back. Kerry won his seats in congress because in mass no one would go up against his war record. When he publish his book or the biographer did on his war record it set off bombs as the men with him never knew how the medals were awarded.. what action etc. his stories of what he did and their experiences appear to inflame them in addition to what he said when he came back.. they could not accept him as commander and chief.. it was ok as long as kerry stayed in mass.

Bringing up Bush national guard now brings another whole section of voters who were in national guard and support Kerry to cross over to Bush. he should get back on economy. bring up cheney deferments again sets off many men during that time who got deferments and may be supporting Kerry but may again cross over to Bush.. he is playing a dangerous game vs talking about todays needs and what he will do for us in the four years. I don't think he is listening to Clinton.
