In Illinois they passed a law that even an unloaded, cased gun couldn't be carried in the passenger compartment. Not good news for hunters who drive 4x4 SUVs. To be legal the guns have to be tied to the roof rack. Seeing what an idiot move it was they exempted SUVs.
