It is time to talk about the future -- the future of Iraq without our troops on the ground there" Thats what i proposed by setting a date for our departure in order to give the good guys and fair guys a chance over the fanatics, terrorists and saddamites. I dont minimize the losses and realize this has not gone as expected. We are in many ways the gang who couldnt shoot straight. But we are not evil and in my heart of hearts i believe we have the support of the silent majority of iraqis who unfortuanately are not the ones who carry weapons and are afraid for their lives and the lives of their families if they take a stand in this environement. mike
