res-On the Dick Cavett show, John O'Neal of swift boat liar fame himself admitted to carrying out such missions, and he didn't seem to know that these are against the rules of the Geneva convention

I believe you've mischaracterized Mr. O'neal's interview. Here is the interview in its entirety.

You are very poorly informed.

First. The My Lai incident had already been resolved. Calley was convicted and sentenced to life well before Kerry went on his rampage here in America.

Second. In 1971, Kerry spoke three times in this order...
Meet the Press
US Senate hearing
Dick Cavett Show

After you have watched all three films, come back and talk to me. I'll be happy to discuss the details with you then. You won't have to hang your butt out quite so far because you will then know exactly what Kerry said.

Right now you are winging it and it doesn't look good on you. We will give you a chance to recover...watch all three films.

>>Kerry didn't accuse directly anyone.

No, he didn't name any particular person, he said everybody did it, that it was the nature of the war they were fighting, that they all were being ordered to commit atrocities, it was part of the chain of command.

My Lai was one incident. I don't recall a second My Lai. Do you?
