I think you can run as nasty a campaign as you want. I think the most important thing about running a campaign is the candidates composure. If you want to run a nasty campaign you have to stand by what you say. You have to set the agenda. Kerry can't set the agenda. And when he tries to be mean and the media or the bush administration comes down on him a little he buckles and and resets his tone. That is why he is not resinating with america and that is why his message never will.
