The limit is two. There was quite a discussion about that earlier this year.

If you want to start at the end, Michal provided a link that left no room for doubt at #reply-19659897 after Bob spelled it out at #reply-19659981.

So, the number of cross-posts allowed is in the range of 0-2, inclusive. However, from an enforcement perspective, the occasional third cross-post by a user won't boil the water, unless it's off-topic or another type of violation. Users who frequently violate the two limit get all of the spam posts deleted, then warnings, suspensions, etc.
