Barring a miracle, this election is over and Bush won.

This is not Viet-Nam , its 2004 and moving up.

Even a moron should be able to see that appeasement and negotiations don't work. Ask the Russians.Ask the Israelis.

We dont have good intelligence, we dont have good defenses at home.

We do have a superb Military and it will be used until something better comes along.

As a general rule, I think think that private investment is more efficient. I am not, however, a libertarian, and things like the space program and the Internet fit into my idea of infrastructural improvements, those things of over- riding general benefit that would not readily develop if left to the market.

On the others, my point is exactly that we do not know what the ultimate cost of the war might be, so your responses are appropriate. What we do know is that our enemies are encouraged by our weakness, and discouraged by our resolve.
