"The Boston Globe had five people working on the story."

Didn't Bush say "Bring it on"? Or was that in a different context?

Ted, I think the "perfect storm" that JF is referring to isn't amounting to much more than a drizzle. There is nothing new in the records that the AP went to great lengths to sue for. Heh, five people on the Boston Globe working on this story? Yep, the press is pulling out all of the stops on this worthy piece of news. ;-)

But ironically enough, it's once again bringing focus back onto Vietnam, where Kerry is losing out. That's why Clinton advised Kerry to move away from Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Kerry has found new talking points, which I think will resonate a lot better with the public. Watch as that $200B figure gets parroted all over the place. It doesn't matter whether Kerry is for the war or against, or whether Kerry could have done a better job or now. People like hearing big dollar amounts. I learned that from the Lewinsky scandal, when Clinton made it sound like the GOP "wasted $60M" of taxpayer money.

A clever red herring, those dollar amounts.
