<<1000 dead Americans and moving up>> Compared to what ? Letting Saddam kill another few 100K Iraqis? 1000 dead or wounded in a Russian school in one day? 44,000 dead on American highways? Do you have safe peaceful solutions to propose for Russia, Israel, Iraq, Spain, Africa ? As an American my primary concern is for America. there is no silver bullet, or should I say silver smart bomb, solution to all the world's problems. America should be a world leader, but it should lead with wisdom, not with reckless militarism.
