mobile home residents

Is there any mobile homes in Florida that are still on their pillars? If this keeps up, we should send the residents on a trek to Oklahoma, and give the state back to the alligators.

I can't believe any insurance companies will insure property there next year.

The highest point on Key West is only 18 ft above sea level. I hiked that mountain. :o)

Islamorada is much less.

The water and electrical supply and distribution systems to and within the Keys are very fragile.

A large hurricane in the Keys could ruin America's best winter vacation spot.

Another thought. Gitmo is on the SE corner of Cuba. Haiti is about 200m SE and Jamaica about 200m SW. Ivan may get to lift the skirts of 600 Arab terrorists.
