And both have had books made into movies although I think the could have picked something better than Striptease from Hiaasen.

Leonard used to be a big drinker. He'd take a Bloody Mary to bed and chug it when he first woke up, that way he wouldn't see the blood when his second thing in the morning was when he vomited. I'd sooner drink a little less and skip the morning ritual.
