I can assure you that the only time that door was open was for crew to egress....and it was seconds, not even minutes. The crews have a signal knock to get back in. The head stewardess carried a key on her person (now the doors lock only from inside as a result of 9/11) the key was not stashed as you assert. They DO NOT relax FAA rules just because there are only 8 people on the flight. The pilots do not obey FAA rules based on the # of passengers on the flights. By you saying this makes you look even more foolish. BOTH my sister and I considered airline pilot careers and are both aviation pilots with an understanding of Commercial Operation Regulations. What you are saying is not true, pure and simple!
