More than that. It is a perfect opening to really go at the media. They have been overplaying their hand, and this was their big "September surprise." I don't think we are being overconfident. There is NO WAY MS Word lines up with a typewriter available in 1972.

The media not only has to "mea culpa," but they can't run one more word about Bush's NG record without looking even more like fools.

You can easily determine that a document was done on a typewriter versus a modern laser printer. All you need is a fairly low power microscope to examine the ink pattern. I find it unbelievable that this simple test was not done.
